Snorkeling excursion at one of the best spots between Papeete and Maraa in French Polynesia.

*Age range of participants: 6 year old or older

*Fitness/experience level required: Need to be able to swim, and have no medical problems. Additional buoyancy can be provided-ask before leaving.

*Language of instruction: English, etc.

*Overview: Pick a snorkeling departure time (either 8:00am or 2:00pm) for a 2 hour and 30 minute excursion at one of the best spots between Papeete and Maraa. Meet at the marina a half hour before departure. Snorkeling sites that could be visited include: Pointe Maraa, Mairie Paea, Temarvarta, 3 Pitons, Plateax aux Tortues, Faille, Tombont, Vallee aux Rougets, Papa Whiskey and others. The choice among these will be made by the monitor-supervisor…depending on the presence of wildlife, the state of the ocean, the eventual current, visibility on site. The snorkeling spot will allow snorkelers to possibly observe tropical fish, coral reef, rays, turtles, reef shark and possibly when the season is right dolphins and humpback whales.

*Participation form: All customers will need to sign a participation form. The form will be provided after payment.

*Pickup/drop off: Meet at marina 1/2 hour before departure. (departures are either 8am or 2pm)

*Days of the week of the activity: Saturday and Sunday

*What’s included: Snorkeling gear (fins, mask, snorkel, shorty)

*What’s not included (and should bring): Sun protection
